rideut is built on open and licensed data. We believe in giving credit where it's due.

Transit data

Route and departure data provided by permission of UTA. Route, schedule, and real-time data (vehicle positions, arrival predictions, and service alerts) come from the Utah Transit Authority (UTA)'s GTFS and GTFS-realtime developer feeds, and are used subject to UTA's terms of use.

Real-time predictions and alerts are provided as-is and may be delayed or unavailable — please don't rely on rideut as your only source for time-sensitive trips; verify critical times with official UTA channels.

Maps

Map tiles and base geography are © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.

Trip planning

In-app turn-by-turn itineraries are computed by rideut directly from UTA's published schedules. Place names are looked up with OpenStreetMap's Nominatim and Google's geocoding service. When an in-app transit route isn't available, we hand off to Google Maps for full door-to-door directions.

rideut is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).
